In the theme of community involvement with our Andre Norman event, EO will be learning from Welcome Neighbor. Welcome Neighbor is a community group supporting immigrants and refugees as they begin a new life in St. Louis. 


You will be able to taste food prepared by individuals in the group, hear their stories, and learn about their culture!

Join us to hear from "The Ambassador of Hope", Andre Norman. 


Andre Norman shares his personal journey from a 105-year prison sentence to becoming a Harvard Fellow. Through powerful storytelling and personal reflections, Andre offers insights into the challenges faced by those who have been incarcerated and the importance of finding hope, purpose, and direction no matter your circumstance. His speech is an inspiring and practical testament to the power of personal transformation, resilience, and education.

Andre has deep connections and a passion for St. Louis. While in St Louis, he worked with Roosevelt High School, MICDS St Louis, and Innovative Concept Academy St Louis.
