Venue: Assembly Chef's Hall
Location: Toronto, Canada

This year’s EO summer barbecue will be taking place on Saturday, July 27th at Chef’s Assembly Hall, Toronto’s popular new food hall. Showcasing some of the best chefs in the city, we will be grilling up some incredible award-winning feasts.

This is a family affair, so we’ll be bringing in tons of activities and interactive components that everyone from kids to adults can enjoy.

We hope to see you come out and spend the day with us on the beautiful patio of Assembly Chef’s Hall, taking in the summer weather and atmosphere of Toronto.

Spouses & children encouraged to attend!

Write That Book!

21 August 2019
Venue: Toronto Reference Library - Novella Room
Location: Toronto, Canada

We'll be bringing in a company called Scribe (formerly known as Book In A Box) to run a full day workshop to help our members who have dreamed of being an author to write and publish your books. The workshop will be run by 3 time NYT #1 bestselling author Tucker Max, whose company has helped over 1000 authors write and publish their books.

This isn't a simple speech or course. It's a complete interactive workshop where they bring in a room full of editors to support Tucker in working with each of you one-on-one to help you refine your book idea, build your outline, create a marketing plan, and put together a writing plan for you to complete your book. They usually sell this program to authors for $5k per person.

My ask: Do not sign up for this event unless you are dead serious that writing a book is a priority for you. We'll be capping the attendance at 30 people, and each of you will receive everything you need to create an incredible book.

Hero Factor: How Great Leaders Transform Organizations and Create Winning Cultures

Business as usual, bad moods, and mediocre expectations are indicators of a MUCH BIGGER problem!

Develop the right culture by knowing why you’re in the game. Understand the essence of your core values. Make sure everyone on your team knows them and more importantly believes in them. Learn to live your brand in everything you do.

Every company ever created started as a story, an idea that inspired other people to join and believe in the cause and over time companies forget and lose that passion.  Now more than ever, businesses need to know and own their purpose to survive, transform, and win.

Most companies fail to understand and protect their impact overtime. A majority of any given work force doesn’t fully know their company’s values and sense of purpose:

- Only 27% of employees actually know their own company values

- 51% of employees are disengaged in their current positions.

- Over half the workforce is currently able to contribute more to their operations!

Know your purpose and lead with your values. Own your hero factor
