Alexandria, Virginia (14 June 2017)— In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), an international community of successful business leaders, EO chapters across the globe have been encouraged to invite an outstanding entrepreneurial leader into their local chapter as “Patron.” EO New York is pleased to announce that Sergio Fernández de Córdova, serial entrepreneur and Chairman and Co-Founder of PVBLIC Foundation, has accepted the invitation to become its chapter Patron.

“We are thrilled to announce Sergio Fernández de Córdova as our Patron because we consider him a ‘superhero’ of our community,” said 2017-2018 EO New York President Stephen Distante. “EO’s aim for this new program is to involve non-members in EO, with a goal of sharing perspectives and experiences that can strengthen the chapter and extend its ties with other organizations. Sergio is a prime example of the spirit of our organization – an innovator and a global influencer.”

Fernández de Córdova has over twenty years of advertising, media, government and legal experience. He led a variety of private-public partnerships with leaders in cities across the US, as well as in major global cities abroad. He co-founded FUEL Outdoor in 2003, growing the company to one of the top three largest outdoor advertising billboard privately-owned companies in the industry. Since then, Fernández de Córdova has launched many entrepreneurial ventures and most notably is the co-founder and visionary behind P3SmartCity, THYNGS Wireless, P3 Global Management, KAPTYN and PVBLIC Foundation.

As Chairman of PVBLIC, he leads the philanthropic foundation’s engagement with governments ranging from the White House to the United Nations and public and private multinationals.
