Entrepreneurs Organization Philadelphia Launches Accelerator
Program Aims to Help Companies Grow to $1 Million in Revenue
June 20, 2017 (Philadelphia, PA) - Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Philadelphia, a global organization dedicated to growing the world’s most influential community of entrepreneurs, today announced it is launching the EO Accelerator Program in the region. The program is the first of its kind in the Philadelphia area with the explicit goal of helping entrepreneurs grow their companies to $1 million in annual revenue.
“We are bringing this global program to Philadelphia because we know there is a thriving start-up community here that could use some support getting to the $1 million mark,” said Tim Devers, president of the Board of EO Philadelphia. “We have a very strong membership group in our local EO chapter that has already made it past that threshold, many far past it. We want to share our experiences, which is one of the core tenets of our organization, so our region’s business community can grow. EO Accelerator has been wildly successful in other cities around the world, so we decided to bring it here.”
The EO Accelerator program is an 18-month intensive educational and peer learning experience focused on four key areas: money, strategy, people, and sales and marketing. Along with structured educational content focused on the core areas of first-stage businesses, it affords participants the unique experience of learning from and connecting with the world’s most influential entrepreneurs. To qualify for the Accelerator program entrepreneurs must:
Be the owner or founder of an operating business with gross yearly revenues between $250,000 to $1 million.
Be located in the greater Philadelphia region, including South Jersey and Delaware.
Only 30 spots are available for the first EO Accelerator Program in Philadelphia. Applications are currently being accepted at http://www.eophiladelphia.com/eo-accelerator. The Program will officially launch in October and there is a $2200 cost for participants.
