Minneapolis, MN, October 25th, 2009 – The Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal released the 2009 ranking of the 50 fastest-growing private companies in Minnesota.  The list included four EO Minnesota companies run by EO members CJ DuBe'  (Oberon), Rob Alexander (Select Communications), Dorreen Schmidt (Latitude Technology Group Inc.), and Chad Johnson (Quality Label and Barcoding Inc). The average growth rate of all 50 companies is 116 percent.  

Chad Johnson, EO MN member and Owner of Quality Label and Barcoding, which has placed on the list in past years as well says “EO should stand for Everyone Overachieves”.  For those that know EO or EO members it is not a surprise that four members of EO MN made the 2009 list.  The first guiding principle of EO is to Boldly Go! - Bet on your own abilities.  Jim Sheehan, President of EO MN, believes that if all 72 EO MN members applied for the honor next year as many as 20 could make the list. 

CJ DuBe', owner of Oberon, and serial entrepreneur joined EO for a forum experience only offered by EO.  Forum is a monthly meeting where the same 8-10 business owners in non-competing industries meet and confidentially share personal and business updates.  All presentations and feedback follow a strict set of guidelines and utilize Gestalt protocol which calls for no direct advice - only sharing of relevant experiences.  CJ says “I strongly believe that I can give my businesses the best chance at achieving consistent high growth by joining a network that in effect offers a business and personal advisory board that is honest, direct, and candid.  In addition, I need to have confidence in them and trust them”. 

Whether EO members are born overachievers or their unique monthly forum experience and shared experiences helps many to run fast growing businesses is a mystery.
