Tech Startup Space a Virgin Territory for Women

27 December 2013 – Women may have stormed many a male bastion and even taken on their male counterparts in the IT sector, but they have failed to make inroads into the booming tech startup space in the city.​

"In my last three years of association with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), Hyderabad, I have not come across a single woman walking up to me and saying 'I have an idea'. Even we are trying to figure out what the issue is," TiE Hyderabad president Murali Bukkapatnam says.
