Sr. Executive Associate to the CEO (Virginia Headquarters)

The Sr. Executive Associate to the CEO will provide excellent operations, business management and administrative support to the CEO of the Entrepreneurs' Organization. The position serves under the authority of the CEO and will have day to day collaborative interactions with members of the management team and the Global Board.  In addition, this position will oversee two administrative assistants assigned to the Executive Team and the Global Board.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the organization and maintain effective working relationships with executive and senior management team.
  • Support budgetary and financial reporting, including creating spreadsheet reports to assist in data analysis for the CEO.
  • Monitor and report on overall corporate operational delivery and performance.
  • Compose accurate and well-written communications materials consistent with CEO's writing style.
  • Create systems to track various related projects and take proactive steps to ensure their accomplishment in a timely and efficient fashion; responsible for completion of independent projects assigned by the CEO.
  • Liaise with internal and external contacts as appropriate.
  • Handle highly confidential, proprietary, and time-sensitive materials in a professional and discreet manner.
  • Coordinate administrative and logistical details associated with the day to day operations of the CEO.
  • Manage daily meeting and travel schedule/reservations of CEO, including arranging both domestic and international travel and calendar management.
  • Prioritize and handle telephone calls, electronic and print communication, letters, and other documents.
  • Perform various administrative duties which may be complex or confidential, such as reconciling expenses, creating and editing agendas, ad hoc reports, and specially assigned projects.
  • Manage 2 (two) administrative assist directly supporting the Global Board and the Executive team.
  • Create meeting(s) timelines, prepare and distribute meeting notification, correspondence, agenda and materials, as well as subsequent updates or changes.

Establish excellent working relationship with the Chairman and Members of the Board of Directors, Governance Committee Chair and Members , Executive Director and Staff organization, and members/leaders in verbal, written, and electronic correspondence.

Job Requirements:

 

Required:

·         Bachelor's degree or higher

·         3+ years of experience working with a President/CEO and or appointed committees

·         7+ years of experience in a high-level administrative support position

·         Exceptional customer service

·         Ability to travel

Preferred:

·         Experience in the hospitality industry

·         Event and logistic experience

·         Ability to speak languages other than English

·         Paralegal abilities
