“My EO” event was a joyous experience
EO Turkey brought its
members together for the first My EO organization event at the 40th
Eurasia Marathon. Eo Turkey members gathered for a good cause with the
leadership of Ali Karabey and they have strengthened their unity in a unique
organization. At this first MY EO event, members also collected donations for the
Child fund of Support Foundation for Civil Society.
With one of a kind t-shirts, members opened EO
Turkey flag on top of the July 15 Martyrs' Bridge and they accompanied the
general enthusiasm of the event in a festive mood. The team gathered at 8 am,
and then they participated in the race which started at 9 am. All the members
had a very pleasant day with lovely conversations. After the 10k finale EO
Turkey members went to have breakfast in Karaköy.
13 of the 34 member in EO Turkey were officially
enrolled in this organization. The participation was really high. Those who
couldn't join the 40th Eurasia Marathon supported the cause with their
donations. EO Turkey aims to repeat the
My EO organizations, which, in addition to support for the children's fund,
gives EO Turkey members the pleasure of being together. The aim is to make the
Eurasian Marathon a traditional My EO event and open it to the global EO
members next year, which will result with a much higher level of participation
and benefit.
