2017 EO Hyderabad University Hosts Over 450 Entrepreneurs from 35 Countries
Alexandria, Virginia, USA (26 October 2017) – Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), the world’s leading peer-to-peer network of successful business leaders has kicked-off its bi-annual learning event, the EO Global University in the city of Hyderabad this week. Inaugurated on Wednesday, 25th October by the Honorable Vice President of India, Shri Venkaiah Naidu and the Honorable Minister for IT, Municipal Administration & Urban Development (MAUD), Industries & Commerce, Mines & Geology, Public Enterprises and NRI affairs, Mr. KT Rama Rao, the 2017 EO Hyderabad University has brought over 450 EO members from 35 countries together for four days of learning and experience sharing.
Taking place at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) from 25th-29th October, the 2017 EO Hyderabad University is also offering attendees access to a prominent line-up of global, regional and local speakers, entrepreneurs and thought leaders.
Speaking during the event, EO Global Chairman, Brian Brault said, “EO’s mission is to engage leading entrepreneurs to learn and grow and our global university events have been designed on that exact premise. In the 30 years since EO was founded, we have grown to a global community of over 12,000 entrepreneurs that are diverse and united. Bringing members together for such events creates an opportunity for people to share their entrepreneurial stories and learn so much more from the diversity of shared perspectives.”
Michael Ross, EO Global University Lead further added, “We are extremely excited about bringing EO Global University to the city of Hyderabad this year. ‘Jugaad’, our theme for this event, highlights India’s unique approach to problem solving and cost-effective innovation. Talking about the Hyderabad Chapter, EO University Local Lead, G.V. Kumar said, “The EO Hyderabad Chapter is proud to be hosting members for this edition of the EO Global University. Our chapter started in 2002 with a group of 7 entrepreneurs. Hyderabad’s prominence as a business hub and the growing interest in entrepreneurship has seen our member base expand to over 80 members from a wide range of sectors including IT, Pharma, Food and Construction to name a few. We are also extremely proud to share that 17% of our members are women entrepreneurs and that our chapter continues to witness a growing number of women entrepreneurs join us.”
EO Global University is one of EO’s most highly anticipated global events that takes place twice a year in different cities across the world. It includes four days of learning combined with social experiences that are unique to the host country.
