Houston Entrepreneurs Optimistic About 2013

31 January 2013 – Houston entrepreneurs are optimistic about the next six months, and many plan to increase their business size, according to a new survey.

The Houston chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, a global network of business owners that have at least $1 million in annual revenue, recently surveyed 143 of its members about their prospects for future business and found they have a positive outlook.

During the next six months, 62 percent of respondents expect to hire more part-time workers, and 45 percent of respondents expect to hire more full-time workers. Furthermore, 79 percent of businesses said they had “positive feelings” about starting a new business in the next six months.
