Cincinnati EO Recognizes Student

Cincinnati - October 22, 2019 – Northern Kentucky University student Isaiah Kelly will be representing Cincinnati at a national competition for young entrepreneurs as the 2019 winner of the regional Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA,) presented by the Entrepreneur’s Organization of Cincinnati.

Kelly presented his shoe customization service, Smoove Creations, during Cincy Start-Up Week and was selected from other local student candidates based on his initiative, vision and grasp of business fundamentals.

Kelly was awarded a $1,000 cash prize and more than $10,000 of in-kind assistance from current EO Cincinnati members. In addition, he will represent Cincinnati at the national competition in Silicon Valley February 10-12 2020, competing for the opportunity to represent the United States at the global finals in Cape Town, South Africa.

The GSEA awards, sponsored by the Entrepreneur’s Organization of Cincinnati, celebrate innovation and entrepreneurship in college and undergraduate students. To qualify for the GSEA awards, undergraduate or college students must have a company operating for at least six months with at least $500 in revenue. This is the third year that EO Cincinnati has offered this awards program.
