EO Goes to the AL Symphony Orchestra for "Bond & Beyond"
Come prepared for a night of music and intrigue! The theme of the evening is “All Things Espionage,” and a tuxedo or formalwear will complete the look. Your mission – should you choose to accept it – begins with a private, pre-show reception at 5:30pm in the Odess Theatre of UAB’s Alys Stephens Center. PrincipalPOPS!Conductor Chris Confessore will make a special appearance to our group on the context of the concert, including his insightful and entertaining behind-the-scenes perspective on music in film.
Our guests will enjoy martinis from two open bars, also stocked with wine, beer, bubbles, and mocktails. The bars will be open during the reception as well as the 8pm concert intermission. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served, including smoked salmon on potato crisp with dill mascarpone and capers, mini twice baked potatoes with chive crème fraiche, pork belly BLTs with oven roasted tomato and sweet basil aioli on a cheddar chive biscuit, and beef tenderloin crostini with blue cheese and port wine reduction.
