ENTREPRENEURS’ ORGANIZATION TO HOST INAUGURAL GRAND RAPIDS EVENT GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. January 6, 2016 – Grand Rapids is emerging as an ideal location to start and grow a business. While there is considerable support for early-stage startups, there are fewer resources for small startup companies that have achieved that “adolescent” scale and stage of life. Seven members of Grand Rapids business community are launching a new chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) in Grand Rapids to fill this demand. EO Grand Rapids is designed to become a support and social network for small business in West Organizers will host its inaugural event on Thursday, January 14 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. in the Centennial Room at Founders Brewery. EO is a global business network of 11,000+ leading entrepreneurs in 48 countries. This will be Michigan’s second chapter, with the first in Metro Detroit. Founded in 1987 by a group of young entrepreneurs, EO enables business owners to learn from each other, leading to greater business success. EO has recognized West Michigan as a hub of entrepreneurial growth with a commitment to a flourishing business community, and is hosting the event to provide local business founders, co-founders, owners and controlling shareholders a chance to learn more about chapter participation.
