Entrepreneurs Organization South Florida Appoints New President and Board of Directors


Entrepreneurs’ Organization - South Florida (EO-SOFLO) has appointed a new president and board of directors to lead the group that fosters entrepreneurship and economic development in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

EO-SOFLO is one of the world’s largest EO chapters with about 180 members who run businesses that account for more than $1 billion in yearly revenues and 30,000 jobs in this region. Worldwide, EO has more than 11,000 members – all of whom are majority shareholders of businesses with at least $1 million in annual revenue -- in more than 48countries.


The new South Florida chapter president is Aaron Lee, founder of Illuminati Studios in Miami Lakes.


New board members include:

James Ashcroft of LifeSafety Management; Jason Beukema of Whet Travel; Jane Bolin of PeytonBolin; William Corrente of Very Important Paws; Goran Dragoslavic of SkY230.com; Seth Ellis of Tripp Scott; Abe Finklestein of Stafflink Outsourcing; Leonard Goldberg of Gold Aviation Services; Gerald Katz of Premier Protection Insurance; Cristina Mistri of Poggesi USA; Joey Princz of Wrecking Ball Studio + Labs; Cesar Quintero of Fit2Go; Darren Seys of Peak Seven Advertising; Scott Silver of Silver Law Group; David Tuaty of Orbis Capital Investments; and Matt Weiss of Weiss and Associates.


“As you might expect in South Florida, our EO chapter has an especially broad and dynamic collection of entrepreneurs and creative business minds,” said Lee, who succeeds the two-year presidential term of Barry Kates. “I’m humbled, honored and excited all at once to follow Barry’s great work, and to lead EO’s efforts to foster even greater entrepreneurship in this region.”


EO presents frequent peer-to-peer learning and experience forums for members; sponsors student and start-up entrepreneurship competitions; partners with area colleges and business incubators such as the Idea Center at Miami-Dade College, Nova Southeastern University H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, Pino Entrepreneurship Center at Florida International University and the Adams Center for Entrepreneurship at Florida Atlantic University; and coordinates many other programs for business growth across South Florida.
