Boca Raton Business Owner Darren Seys Earns Global Communications Award For Entrepreneurs Organization South Florida

Boca Raton business owner Darren Seys and Entrepreneurs’ Organization – South Florida (EO-SOFLO) have been honored with the EOGlobal Marketing & Communications Leadership Award for outstanding efforts to promote entrepreneurship in South Florida.

Seys was presented the award at a recent EO conference in Bangkok, Thailand in front 1,000 top entrepreneurs from around the world. Seys and EO-SOFLO were up against more than 150 chapters from 53 countries vying for the honor.

The win was based on EO-SOFLO’s broad range of effective and creative communications – videos, live presentations, interactive calendars, social media platforms, news announcements and more – to members and others in the South Florida start-up and entrepreneurial community.

EO-SOFLO is one of the world’s largest EO chapters with 180 members who run businesses that account for more than $1 billion in yearly revenues and 30,000 jobs in South Florida.

The organization fosters entrepreneurship and economic development through peer-to-peer learning and experience forums for members; sponsors student and start-up entrepreneurship competitions; partners with area colleges and business incubators; and leads other economic development efforts.

“Darren has delivered so many great ideas and communications for our organization and for the growth of South Florida’s entrepreneurial ecosystem,” said Aaron Lee, EO-SOFLO president. “It’s a great honor for our chapter to shine across the globe.”

Seys is founder and president of Peak Seven, an award-winning advertising and marketing agency in Boca Raton. He resides in Parkland, and has served as EO-SOFLO’s board as communications chairman since 2014.
