Entrepreneurs' Organization to Host Global Leadership Conference in Greece
Athens, Greece (7 May 2014) – More than 1,000 entrepreneurial leaders from more than 40 countries will gather in historic Athens for a three-day business leadership conference organized by the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO). As the world’s only peer-to-peer entrepreneurial organization, EO’s global events are designed to galvanize entrepreneurs looking to connect with a community of more than 10,000 members to gain leadership skills, perspective and awareness.
The Global Leadership Conference (GLC), which is a yearly exclusive, invitation-only gathering for EO member leaders to share experiences and apply them to their businesses and everyday lives, is destined to attract and encourage a variety of Greece-based entrepreneurs into potentially becoming EO members. The GLC will feature plenary learning sessions regarding the business dimensions of influence, control, power and inspiration.
EO Global Chairman Rosemary Tan stated for the occasion: “For more than 25 years, EO has been supporting entrepreneurs in all corners of the world as they transform businesses, communities, industries and the lives of those they lead. During this year’s GLC, we are taking that support to another level by giving our member leaders the tools they need to further engage the world and make a mark. In doing so, they will serve as greater catalysts of change and find new ways to give back through entrepreneurship.”
The highly touted GLC will offer participants the opportunity to gain renewed leadership perspective by participating in innovative workshops that cater to their unique leadership skills and leadership roles; attend special learning sessions, where they will get acquainted with the principles of leadership and discover how to apply them in their personal and professional lives; and define their leadership legacy through experience sharing and a better understanding of the EO leadership model.
