Entrepreneurs’ Organization Announces New Global Chairman
Alexandria, Virginia, USA (1 July 2014) – Today, the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), the world’s leading peer-to-peer community of entrepreneurs, welcomed Blair Assaly as the organization’s new Global Chairman of the Global Board of Directors for FY2014/2015. Assaly’s tenure as Global Chairman will focus on strengthening the global EO network while driving the organization’s initiatives and the leading entrepreneurs it supports to pursue new measures of personal and professional growth. EO’s thriving membership has increased to more than 10,000 members worldwide, and member companies now generate a combined US$565 billion in annual revenue and employ more than 2.2 million people.

A member of EO Edmonton since 2002, Assaly is the president of Ascot Properties Group, a family-owned rental property business that was established in 1952 by his father, Edward, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. In addition to Assaly’s role on the Board, EO also welcomes three newly elected Directors: Eric Gangloff of EO Reno Tahoe, Ivan Ting of EO China South and Sanjay Wadhwa of EO Chennai.
