Accelerator Program Helps Jumpstart Small Businesses in 2012

Rochester, NY (19 January 2012) – The Entrepreneurs’ Organization Accelerator program announced today its ongoing support for assisting optimistic small businesses looking to stimulate economic growth in 2012. With approximately 40 percent of small businesses feeling more hopeful about the economic outlook in the new year, the Accelerator program’s growth-driven curriculum aims to help companies face current and new challenges.

For more than six years, the Accelerator program has taken first-stage business leaders with gross annual incomes ranging between US$250,000 and US$1 million, and turned them into industry leaders. Once this revenue guideline has been surpassed, business owners are invited to join the Entrepreneurs’ Organization.

“We are proud to support entrepreneurs and their passion to further develop their business,” said Kevin Langley, Chairman of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization. “Over the years, we have seen many members increase their annual revenues and transform into leaders of their industry.”

The program’s extensive curriculum addresses four key issues that impact prospective businesses, including strategic planning, sales and marketing, human resources and finance.

Some benefits of becoming a member of the Accelerator program include:

  • Networking opportunities with other entrepreneurs, including the leading business owners in a particular city.
  • Tips and strategies for increasing capital.
  • Practical feedback to help you grow sales effectively.
