It’s a rarity in the apparel industry: a U.S.-based brand that manufactures all of its products domestically.
Yet Nine 1 One Gear Inc. is doing just that.
Led by Beaverton-based CEO Peter Ettro, the company — a manufacturer of outerwear for police, fire and emergency medical personnel — in April acquired WaterShed Inc., which for the past two decades has made Gore-Tex raingear for various agricultural and industrial customers at a manufacturing plant in north Salem.
