Entrepreneurs Invited to EO OKC Event Featuring Piyush Patel

OKLAHOMA CITY — Entrepreneurs’ Organization of Oklahoma City is hosting a happy hour event for local business founders who want to learn more about overcoming the challenges of owning and running a business from a successful local entrepreneur and best-settling author.

Piyush Patel, author of “Lead Your Tribe, Love Your Work” and EO OKC founding member, will speak at the event. It’s from 3:30-6 p.m. June 22 at Gaillardia Country Club, 5300 Gaillardia Blvd. The event is free to attend, but requires registration.

Patel will speak about the ups and downs of entrepreneurship and how he overcame challenges to find success. Patel started his business, Digital-Tutors, in 2000 for $54. He later sold it for millions. He will focus on how to have more fun and step away from the business more.

Carrie Santos, CEO of Entrepreneurs’ Organization, wants business owners to understand how EO helps entrepreneurs succeed, grow, and achieve their full potential in their professional and personal lives.

“All over the world, people are hustling every day in their small businesses, working hard to make it independently. Their communities lack the infrastructure needed to help entrepreneurs succeed. Entrepreneurs bring value to their employees, families, and communities, but they can only go so far on their own,” she said.
