 Entrepreneurs’ Organization members take seven slots in annual list.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  – Inc. magazine recently published their annual list titled the Inc. 5000. This year seven companies from Entrepreneurs’ Organization Nashville were included.

According to the magazine, companies are chosen for the list by comparing revenue growth from 2005 to 2008. Companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, independent, for-profit and not a subsidiary or division of another company. Revenues in 2005 must have been at least $200,000 and at least $2 million for 2008.

“Our membership represents some of the most creative and talented business owners in the city,” said Arnie Malham, president of EO Nashville. “We are proud of our friends who made the list and congratulate them on being recognized for their hard work.”

Entrepreneurs’ Organization has a global membership that provides information and support to entrepreneurs. The Nashville chapter has 54 members, representing total annual sales of $188 million and 1,084 employees. To join, an entrepreneur must be younger than 50 years old and be founder, co-founder or controlling shareholder of a company with gross annual sales exceeding $1 million.
