On 5 November, James & Wells Intellectual Property was awarded the “Team Factors Intellectual Property Law Award” at the 2009 New Zealand Law Awards held in Auckland, New Zealand. EO New Zealand President Simon Rowell, a partner of the firm, said winning the award was especially gratifying because the nomination and voting was performed by the firm’s clients.

“James & Wells has a great client base and we have close relationships with them. Our people work really hard to focus our services on clients’ needs—rather than their wants—and it’s been rewarding when we help them achieve their business goals,” Simon added.

James & Wells, founded in 1979, is a boutique intellectual property firm with patent attorneys, trade mark specialists and intellectual property lawyers all working within the company.
