EO and KCRW Team Up to Present a
One-of-a-kind Multimedia Event About our Money

EO of Los Angeles is proud to announce it’s sponsorship of a special multimedia event with KCRW and NPR’s award winning radio show Planet Money Live.  The event will be held on Sunday, April 19 from 6-7PM at the beautiful Broad stage in Santa Monica.  Prior to the event there will be a VIP reception.  

Within four hours of ticket sales, 500 seats were sold to Planet Money Live. This multimedia event will air live on KCRW-FM (89.9). It will also be streaming video and podcast on NPR.org.  The program hosts, Alex Blumburg and Adam Davidson, will be talking the most critical issue facing our nation and Los Angeles: the economy. 

As the nation’s leading organization of successful entrepreneurs, EO recognizes the value of this kind of discussion to move our town and country forward.  EO also knows that for us to succeed we will need to be supporting our local communities and important Los Angeles pillars like, KCRW-FM.  To open the discussion, EO-LA’s president Jamie Douraghy will ask the first question.  He will also be joined by 10 other members of EO-LA board of directors.  

The EO and KCRW partnership will also open doors for EO members to highlight their businesses to KCRW’s 65,000 members from San Diego to Santa Barbara.

As part of EO’s sponsorship, for ten days leading up to Planet Money Live, EO will sponsor the Morning Market Place report and Market Place show that airs at 2 pm M-F.

KCRW is the flagship station of NPR and reaches 570,000 listeners each week.
