Netsurit wins Networking Infrastructure Solutions Competency award

Local managed outsourcing IT provider to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), Netsurit, outshone stiff competition at the Microsoft Partner Conference in Durban this month to win the Networking Infrastructure Solutions Competency award for 2009.

The award is presented to technology partners who have not only proven their proficiency in implementing solutions based on Microsoft technologies, but also focus on empowering their employees through training and development while servicing the community through social responsibility initiatives.

Jenny Prospero, Partner Programmes Manager: Microsoft South Africa, says: “We looked at how Netsurit is growing its business using its networking infrastructure competencies to attract more customers. We also focused strongly on the number of implementations, customer references and case studies that were put forward as part of the Netsurit submission.”

Netsurit's ability to optimise the value customer’s gain from basic IT services has earned them a positive reputation in the industry, Prospero adds.

“The company was up against formidable local players, but with their solution wins, innovative thought leadership and revenue growth, Netsurit is the deserving winner.”

Rian Van der Walt, Technology Director, at Netsurit says the award is a testimony that the company's relationship with key partners, such as Microsoft, is being recognised in the industry.

“We are honoured to have earned the Networking Infrastructure Solutions Competency in the Microsoft Partner Program. The competency allows us to clearly promote our expertise and relationship with Microsoft to our customers. The benefits provided through our certified membership will allow us to continue to enhance the offerings that we provide to customers."
