26 September 2013 – A Villanova University senior who is also running a waste management and recycling company for small and midsize business has won the regional Global Student Entrepreneur Awards competition in Washington. Charlie Dolan, 21, who cofounded Pittsburgh-based Sequoia Waste Solutions two years ago and helped create the proprietary technology that helps client efficiently manage trash disposal, will now compete in the finals Nov. 20 and 22 in Washington for $150,000 in cash and business services.
