Valen Named Global Chairman of Entrepreneurs’ Organization

30 May 2013 – Gus Valen was named global chairman of The Entrepreneurs’ Organization. Among EO’s 9,000 members spanning 50 countries, there are only nine leaders selected to serve on the Board worldwide. Global Chairmen do not campaign, but are elected by peers at the highest level.
Valen, who joined the organization in his 30s, has been a member of EO for 11 years. He began volunteering on the local chapter board chairing Learning Events. He then was asked to serve at the regional and international level. During his time working with EO, Valen has met with entrepreneurs from across the world, traveling beyond North America to Europe, India and parts of Asia including China, as well as to South America to promote entrepreneurship and global growth of the organization.
