INDIAN STUDENT WINS THE REGIONAL GLOBAL
STUDENT ENTREPRENEUR AWARDS
Dhaka– 10.02.2018-
Indian/Nepalese/Sri Lankan/Bangladeshi student became the proud winner of the
Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) “Regional Competition”, a program of
the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) South Asia, hosted by Bangladesh. Eshan
Sadasivan – Founder & CEO, PROSOC bested HIS competitors with HIS innovative
(business insights) based on HIS business idea, excellent presentation skill
and smart responses during the question answer session.
This UP student entrepreneur
has won GSEA local and he will be competing against the top student
entrepreneurs from around the world in the hopes of winning over US$400,000 in
cash and donated prizes at EO GSEA Global Finals 2018 in Toronto, Canada.
Jahangir Alam of
ALO from Bangladesh was the first runner up.
In order to qualify
for this award contest, an individual has to be an undergraduate student and
the owner of a for-profit/social enterprise structured (revenue generating)
business that has operated for at least six consecutive months. All the
participants contested in the Regional Finals have achieved the Local Winner
Award and prize money in their respective countries.
Eshan`s statement
“GSEA has
introduced me with a wide-open horizon of possibilities. This has been a
continuous adventure of enriching myself through learning. Moreover, attending
the regional finals have been an amazing experience as I got acquaintance with
innovative geniuses from other countries and I think this will help me broaden
my vision about business and friendship.” said Eshan Sadasivan, winner of GSEA regional
competition.

Minister for Commerce, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has graced
the event with his presence as the chief guest. The jury for the regional

Seventeen student entrepreneurs from four
countries competed head to head in this regional finale against each other for
this prestigious award.
