Senior Vice President of Products (Home Office set-up in the Americas)

The SVP, Products is responsible for EO’s product strategy and manages the Products team. The SVP ensures products meet the need of the organization's members and external clients.  This role includes a balance of strategic collaboration with the company management team members, project, personnel and budget management as well as hands-on day-to-day implementation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Product Strategy:

  • - Lead company product/curriculum development strategy in alignment with business goals, desired member experience, member feedback and overall market opportunity to ensure industry leadership.
  • - Collaborate with members of the management team and members leaders to determine requirements and provide direction to stakeholders and product managers.
  • - Oversees key projects, processes, and performance reports, data and analysis.
  • - Plans documentation system. 

Product and Process Development:

  • - Produce company product/curriculum to reach organizational objectives.
  • - Define and document processes to improve efficiency, quality standards and profit margins while optimizing product strategy and time to market.
  • - Collaborate with member leaders and management team to develop products that support strategic relationships and member needs.

Personnel Management & Operational Communication:

  • - Manage a diverse portfolio of Products including the organization's Learning, Events, Personalization, Leadership services, along with developing new products to add to the portfolio
  • - Streamline and integrate processes and communication between Strategic Communications and Product in support of the company's product development direction, timelines, budgets and overall sales revenue objectives
  • - Develop and recommend budgets to management; including staff utilization, technology, facility and equipment requirements and improvements.
  • - Manage a global staff to ensure skills, knowledge, and abilities meet the needs of the organization

Relationship Management:

  • - Represent, advocate for and manage organization and product development goals through relationships with industry service providers, associations, and other resources.
  • - Align and implement products created through strategic relationships/partnerships with over-arching company product strategic direction.


Qualification Requirements:

Required:

  • > Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University
  • > 12-15 years of Executive Level business experience
  • > Strong global sales background with product diversity
  • > Ability to collaborate and develop organizational product strategy
  • > Budget Management for a multi-million dollar department
  • > Experience with product conception, launch, and roll out
  • > Ability to manage a multicultural team and build a positive work culture


Preferred:

  • > Additional language skills other than English.
  • > Association Knowledge
  • > Master's Degree Education (or equivalent)

Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure using whole numbers and calculate figures and amounts such as fractions, decimals, percentages, proportions and ratios to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and/or oral form.

Additional hours may be required during periods of heavy workload.  Flexibility is required in the daily work schedule to accommodate tasks

The employee is normally required to work in a high-rise building equipped with elevators in an environment where the noise level is usually moderate. 

May be assigned to an internal work space without windows to the outside, located in close proximity to other office personnel. 

Professional workplace where business and business casual attire is required.

Ability to work in a fast pace and high pressure environment.
