Mentorship Manager (Virginia Headquarters or Home Office for Internal Applicants)

​The Mentorship Manager will provide support to all of the Organization's mentorship programs. This position will maintain an accurate and up to date status on the state of all mentorship programs while also driving the program's overall strategy. The Mentorship Manager will be the primary contact for all Mentorship Chairs around the globe as well as the staff liaison to the Mentorship Sub-Committee. In addition, the Mentorship Manager will be responsible for developing the content for training the Mentorship Chairs at the annual Global Leadership Conference as well as Mentorship Training content year round.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Serve as the primary point of contact for all Mentorship Chairs.

·     Manage and support all Mentorship Sub-Committee monthly calls and strategic efforts.

·     Ensure the success of all 9 of EO's regions' mentorship programs. Schedule all regional calls and disseminate notes while also supporting any efforts including program launches, stability, and resolving any issues.

·       Manage the program's annual budget.

·       Ensure the tools and resources (including dropbox) provided to Mentorship Chairs are up to date and relevant.

·       In charge of the design of mentorship tools and resources.

·       Track status of local mentorship programs in all stages of development.

·       Manage any online communities for Mentorship Chairs.

·       Ensure accurate information is reflected on the website regarding the program.

·    Create the agenda and officer guide for the Mentorship Track of the Global Leadership Conference.

·        Plan the Directors' Meeting that takes place at the Global Leadership Conference.

·      Primary resource for booking EO Mentorship Trainings. This includes but is not limited to: collecting dates from chapters, tracking facilitator availability, facilitator confirmation, sending contracts, payment collection.

·       Prepare the content for the annual "Train the Trainer" meeting.

·       Manage them Mentorship training community efforts and assist with required travel logistics..

·       Manage [email protected] email address and respond to all requests in a timely manner.

·       Support the Training Community Director and VP of Leadership and Strategy with related projects.

·       Timely response to all email inquiries.

·       Other duties and assignments as necessary.

Education and/or Experience: 

Required:

  • 3-5 years business experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Ability to travel

Preferred:

  • 1-2 years Association experience
  • Familiar with MS Office

Language Skills:  Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos.  Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing members, staff, managers, clients, and the public.  Ability to understand oral instructions and to ask for clarification when necessary.  

Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure using whole numbers and calculate figures and amounts such as fractions, decimals, percentages, proportions and ratios to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and/or oral form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, talk, and hear.  The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle and feel objects, tools, and controls.  The employee is occasionally required to stand, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.  Required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and abilities to adjust focus to read and type documents on a computer screen

Additional hours may be required during periods of heavy workload.  Flexibility is required in the daily work schedule to accommodate tasks.

The employee is normally required to work in a high-rise building equipped with elevators in an environment where the noise level is usually moderate. 

May be assigned to an internal work space without windows to the outside, located in close proximity to other office personnel. 

Professional workplace where business and business casual attire is required.
