Forum Training Coordinator (Virginia Headquarters)

​The Forum Training Coordinator position will manage the Forum training program calendar and maintain training program data for EO Chapters in United States, Canada and Latin America. The coordinator will also assist in supporting the Forum Health of the Chapters by working with the Forum Directors and Regional Councils to ensure training and development needs are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·   Manage Forum training program schedule for all EO Chapters in the US, Canada and Latin America.

o   Track training schedule

o   Schedule facilitators for trainings

o   Collect training contracts

o   Arrange training venues

o   Book facilitator hotel rooms

o   Invoice chapters as needed

o   Approve trainer invoices and chapter venue reimbursements

o   Communicate all training details to the chapters and facilitators

·         Ensure that reporting is kept current and accurate, including monthly reports on trainer tracking, evaluation numbers and spreadsheet for accounting  

·         Ship materials for Forum Trainings, MyEO and Moderator Summits

·         Take notes during quarterly Forum Trainer calls and monthly Forum Committee Calls

·         Participate in monthly regional Forum Chair and Forum Director calls

·         Respond to inquiries sent to [email protected]

·         Attend and assist with the yearly Forum Trainers' Retreat

·         Assist with tracking training material translation

·         Assist with tracking of Forum Trainer applications

·         Occasional domestic and international travel required to assist as event support

Job Requirements:

Required:

 

  • Bachelor Degree (or equivalent experience), event planning, communications or other related area of study
  • 1-3 years work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Solution based thinking
  • Team building and relationship management experience
  • Strong background in multi-department collaboration
  • Ability to treat every task, no matter how big or small, as important to advancing EO's mission
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change quickly and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

·         Event and logistic experience

·         Ability to speak languages other than English

·         Association experience
