Charlotte Entrepreneurs’ Organization Accelerator Program
Helps Businesses Hit Million Dollar Goal

CHARLOTTE – The Charlotte Chapter of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO Charlotte) is a host chapter for the internationally acclaimed Accelerator Program, a series of quarterly, high-impact learning events designed to help business owners reach $1 million in annual revenues. Entrepreneurs that have participated in the Accelerator Program have seen their businesses thrive even as others are falling by the wayside.

Take Adam Huth, for example. Huth is owner and president of United Transcription, Inc., which transforms voice records into first-class documents. Huth’s small business was successful but he wanted to get revenues to $1 million more quickly than he was able to accomplish on his own. So he became actively involved in the Accelerator Program.

“The EO Accelerator Program connected me with owners of businesses that are about the same size as mine who had growth goals similar to mine. At the same time, it gives participants access to guidance from successful entrepreneurs that have reached the million dollar mark and beyond,” says Huth, whose business revenues now exceed the million dollar mark. “Sharing experience in this way has played a major role in our company’s impressive revenue growth.”

Accelerator is a three-year program for young entrepreneurs providing mentoring, networking and business guidance while delivering education in four key areas: Strategy, Finance, Sales and People.  Dan Wilson, owner and president of Waypoint Solutions Group credits the program with his company's 60% growth rate during his final year in the program.

“The EO Accelerator Program definitely contributed clarity on how to tackle specific issues,” says Wilson, who now serves as Accelerator Chair for EO Charlotte. “For example, after a full day dedicated to learning how to address sales challenges, I was able to immediately implement two of the principles I learned. The result was four new contracts that our company may not have gotten without the guidance provided through Accelerator.”

To qualify for the Accelerator Program, entrepreneurs must apply before age 47 and be the owner or founder of an operating business with gross annual revenues between $250,000 and $1 million. For more information on the Accelerator Program contact Accelerator Chair Dan Wilson at 704-246-1717.

EO Charlotte is part of a global community of more than 7,500 entrepreneurs worldwide, all of whom run companies that exceed $1 Million in revenue. EO Charlotte serves members who have a passionate desire to grow their businesses, to learn from their peers, and to share their experiences with others.
