EO CHAPTER TO BRING GOOD TIDINGS IN AP

Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) South Asia is the fast growing organization with an existing network of 20 chapters across India, Nepal, Bangladesh and SriLanka. Now, this prestigious establishment has set foot in Vijayawada. The world’s largest peer-to-peer entrepreneurial network was unveiled this March. EO was launched officially at the Taj Gateway Hotel in the presence of noted dignitaries and distinguished business leaders.

The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) is a global, peer-to-peer network of more than 11,000 influential business owners with 153 chapters in 48 countries. Founded in 1987, EO is the catalyst that enables leading entrepreneurs to learn and grow, leading to greater success in business and beyond.

The latest entrant in the South Asia region, EO Andhra Pradesh is the 21st Chapter of the South Asia. Mr. Lokesh Nara, Minister for Information Technology, Panchayath Raj and Rural Development (Government of Andhra Pradesh) made it a point to attend the launch and unveil the EO Andhra Pradesh Chapter. Being an Entrepreneur himself, Lokesh was the former executive director of Heritage Foods Limited. His presence added much value to the initiative, receiving commendation from several business leaders and startup aspirants.

The EO Andhra Pradesh brings in good tidings with respect to nurturing a healthy ecosystem for entrepreneurs in the state. Through its network, a formidable array of entrepreneurs from across various sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, F&B, automotive, education & training, textile and real estate etc will find a viable footing. The chapter is charting a strategic growth plan for the next five years with the sole aim of bringing more entrepreneurs into the community.

Present on the occasion were luminaries like Kambampati Ram Mohan Rao, Kamineni Srinivas, Suresh Chitturi, Dr. Ramesh Pothineni, Sambasiva Rao & Deva Katta. All of them spoke about the spirit of entrepreneurship and wished great endeavors to the new EO chapter at Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking at the launch event, Mr. Jairam Kambhampati, Chapter President EO Andhra Pradesh said, “Andhra is a rapidly growing state on all fronts industries, infrastructure and education. We are definitely prominent on the international map now. EO Andhra’s mission is to grow and nurture the budding entrepreneurs from the region who will be instrumental in our country’s business growth.”

Smita, popularly known to the Telugu audience as the only pop singer from Andhra spoke about the importance of being an entrepreneur and the present need to create more opportunities and inspire younger generation to take up entrepreneurship. Smita is the only woman to be a part of the founding board of EO Andhra Pradesh. An entrepreneur herself, Smita represents multiple industries in health, fitness, production, F&B, beauty, retail, handloom & cosmetic manufacturing.
