Entrepreneurs' Organization Brings Global Business Leaders to Washington, D.C.
-- Nearly 30 entrepreneurs from 13 countries will take part in a renowned leadership-building event, fortifying EO's role as a global thought leader on entrepreneurship --
Alexandria, Virginia, USA (31 October 2014) – The Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO), a global network of more than 10,000 business owners in 46 countries, will host its seventh annual Leadership Academy in Washington, D.C. from 2-5 November. This rigorous learning summit is designed to ignite the personal and professional leadership transformation of EO members, while equipping them with the tools, guidance and resources they need to make an even bigger mark in their businesses, industries and regions. The primary focus of the Leadership Academy is sustained transformational growth, which is achievable when one's purpose is aligned with action and the human spirit is peaking physically, emotionally and mentally.
"Leadership is the one constant in entrepreneurship," said EO Global Chairman Blair Assaly. "Leadership has been, and always will be, at the core of our efforts as an organization. As entrepreneurs, we can make an even bigger impact locally, regionally and globally, and it all starts with a willingness to use the tools we're given to make a difference in the lives of those we lead. During this program, our leading entrepreneurs will embark on an inner journey that will illuminate each of their core values, leading to greater authenticity and self-awareness."
Since its founding in 1987, fostering leadership has been one of EO's critical offerings, which has enabled the organization to aggressively expand its global impact and influence. Today, EO member companies generate a combined US$536 billion in annual revenue and employ more than 2.4 million people. By offering resources like the Leadership Academy, which serves as a backdrop for global transformation through leadership development, nearly 30 entrepreneurs representing 13 countries will go on to serve as stewards of change in their respective communities. As with EO's other global programs, the Leadership Academy is an instrumental component of the organization's leadership-growth strategy because it builds the leaders that help drive EO, and in turn, the world.
