The Awards and Recognition Association (ARA) honors Trophies2go.com with its inaugural "Website of the Year" Award

Issaquah, Washington, USA (PRWEB) March 23, 2010 -- Trophies2Go.com, a leading supplier of awards, trophies and recognition products, was recently honored with the ‘Website of the Year’ distinction from the Awards and Recognition Association (ARA). Jeff Anderson, president of Trophies2Go.com, is quick to credit his staff: “Their hard work and commitment is the driving force behind this accomplishment. It has taken a great deal of effort over a long time to reach this level of success. I am proud of the leadership that our employees and company have shown the awards industry.” Anderson admits that it feels great to be recognized by peers, but adds “…there is still work to do. We are always looking at ways to improve so we can provide the best experience for our customers. We have some exciting new opportunities we are looking at implementing this year.”

The Trophies2Go.com website has been developed as a team effort combining the skills and expertise of local and national companies. Graphics were created by Seattle-based Eben Design; the backoffice is operated by CORESense; Nextopia and PowerReviews also provide key technologies for site search and product reviews. Anderson recognizes CORESense, a leader in multi-channel e-commerce and retail management solutions, as their most significant technology provider. “CORESense provides the tools, expertise and best practices to help us succeed. We are currently utilizing only a portion of their technology. It’s great to have additional functionality available when we’re ready to implement.”

Jeff Anderson attributes much of his company’s success to his involvement with the Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO), an international network of business owners. Through the sharing of both positive and negative business experiences, EO has helped provide Jeff with the tools necessary to survive and thrive in the marketplace. Anderson states, “EO has meant the world to me. My Forum creates the space to confidentially share ideas, successes and failures. It has helped me build the foundation for our next several years of growth and has led me to balance my personal and work life.”

In addition to EO, Anderson is involved with Recognition Professionals International (RPI), a group committed to raising the standards of those engaged in employee recognition. Anderson received RPI’s Certified Recognition Professional (CRP) designation in 2008. He states that the education received through the CRP program is invaluable in that it ,”provides tools for us to help create, apply and maintain the best recognition programs possible for our client’s organizations.”

Besides providing awards and recognition, the Issaquah based company is engaged in charitable giving and community involvement. Through its ‘Awards for a Cause’ program, a portion of a select group of products’ sales gets donated to a local or national charity on a quarterly basis. Past recipients have included the Seattle Autism Guild, Eastside Domestic Violence Program, Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank, TreeSwing, Yellow Ribbon fund and more. The current Awards for a Cause recipient is the King County Library System Foundation. Visit www.trophies2go.com/charities for the current list of products that will benefit their cause.
