EO receives donation through Microsoft’s Corporate Citizenship Technology for Good Program

Alexandria, Virginia, USA (6 September 2012)– The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) and Microsoft announced today that the technology leader has awarded EO a two-year​ grant that donates software license fees to the organization. Microsoft selected EO as a recipient based on the services it provides to more than 8,700 entrepreneurs in 35 countries, helping them grow their businesses and have positive impacts on their communities. The donation enhances the networking, learning, and leadership resources EO offers to support entrepreneurs throughout the world.

The donation was awarded by the Microsoft Corporate Citizenship Technology for Good Program, which partners with high performing nonprofit organizations that demonstrate mission success, to utilize technolog​​y to achieve their goals. Valued at US$496,214.00, the donation will help EO to implement changes to enhance the organization’s technology infrastructure, resulting in greater opportunities for members to transform their communities.

“The Entrepreneurs’ Organization board and members are grateful for the assistance and recognition bestowed by Microsoft’s Corporate Citizenship program, which will help us serve our membership and our mission,” said Bob Strade, EO’s Executive Director. “Both Microsoft and the Entrepreneurs’ Organization acknowledge and champion the essential and crucial role that entrepreneurs play in healthy communities, and we are honored to partner with the Microsoft global citizenship community.
