Multifaceted new agreement adds value for EO members in Canada,
building on a strong relationship that has existed since 2009.

Alexandria, Virginia, USA (02 September 2011) – The Entrepreneurs’ Organization and American Express are pleased to announce that they have reached an agreement on a regional partnership in Canada, effective September 2011. Building on the AMEX Partners Plus relationship that has existed since 2009 in the U.S., the Small Business Referral Program will confer benefits to more than 700 Canadian business owners.

“We are very excited to bring the relationship with American Express into Canada,” said Oren Nutik, the Canadian Area Director of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization. “EO is focused on helping leading entrepreneurs learn and grow, and we feel that this partnership will provide great value to our entrepreneurs in Canada.”

In addition to providing EO members in Canada with exclusive card benefits, American Express has signed on as a sponsor of the Canadian Regional Conference in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, taking place in January 2012. The sponsorship will help strengthen an event that is aimed on producing business growth learning opportunities for entrepreneurs throughout the region.

“American Express is thrilled to continue to grow the relationship we’ve built with EO,” said Abhijeet Rege, Director of Small Business Services for American Express Canada.  “American Express is focused on supporting small business owners and entrepreneurs throughout the world, so it made sense for us to expand our partnership to include Canada.  We hope this is another step towards a very successful future between our two organizations.

The Entrepreneurs’ Organization has been a positive force within business communities throughout the world, helping to fuel economic development and job creation by driving learning and growth within its members’ companies. Globally, EO’s members account for US$138 billion in annual revenues and employ more than 1.5 million workers. Forging a strong relationship with American Express that focuses on providing value to these business owners will create additional opportunities for them to grow and succeed.
