Scott Zajac, an EO St. Louis member and senior managing director of Advantage Capital Missouri Partners, has been recognized as the 2009 Clayton Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year.

Scott accepted the award at a ceremony and dinner at the St. Louis Ritz-Carlton.

Acknowledging the current economic climate, Scott pointed to Advantage Capital's continued commitment to small business growth.

"We are making a difference in the region and around the country. Despite very challenging times, we are filling a desperately needed void by providing access to capital for small businesses that may not otherwise have had the ability to raise that capital," said Scott.
