EO > Press Room > Member News > EO Dirtbike Adventure Tour in South Africa EO Dirtbike Adventure Tour in South Africa  Preceding the EO Cape Town University, EO Dirtbike will organize an adventure tour in South Africa from 6–9 November 2010. EO Dirtbike will receive guidance and instruction from Alfie Cox, a highly decorated veteran of the African motocross and enduro world. KTM will provide KTM 450 EXC dirtbikes, logistics, and mechanical back-up. During the adventure tour, the EO Dirtbike base camp will be approximately 300km from Cape Town. We will stay at the same hotel for the duration of the tour. KTM will guide day-tours and there will be no need to carry any gear. Expect varied terrains and fascinating landscapes. The cost of the adventure tour is approximately US$1,200 including dirtbike rental and hotel. The group will be split into subgroups according to level of proficiency. The event is open to EO members and friends and suited for all levels; however, all participants should have a minimum of off-road experience.
