On 7 December, Portfolio.com featured a blog by Eric Hansen, an EO Chicago member and president of Competitive Lawn Service, as part of its year-long online series, “The Great Global Adventure.” Portfolio.com is following several American entrepreneurs as they work to grow their businesses globally.

Eric wrote about how the British Airways "face-to-face" program enabled him to make international connections that opened the doors to technology and opportunities as he worked to incorporate alternative fuels into his business.

As a result of Eric's work, Competitive Lawn Service will be the first company in the U.S. to have a commercial lawn maintenance crew operate 100 percent on propane as an alternative fuel.
