23 November 2011 – Entrepreneurs’ Organization Houston announced today that it has thrown its support behind the 2nd annual “Small Business Saturday,” an initiative created to encourage consumers to shop locally at small businesses. Over 130 EO Houston members will be promoting the initiative throughout the week to consumers, with a few members offering specials to customers who shop with them on Saturday, November 26, 2011.
EO Houston’s Cliff Kurtzman is an advocate for “Small Business Saturday” and is offering patrons of his website, MyCityRocks, $5 off any purchase of $150 or more from November 25-29 by using the code “SupportSmallBiz” online in MyCityRocks Ticket Exchange at http://tickets.mycityrocks.com.
