On 18 and 22 August 2007, three All-India Forums were launched with members from the various Indian chapters (Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai). This has been a great achievement for the members who have joined forces and launched these Forums.
Needless to say, the initiation and interaction among all members has been excellent, just as we expected. This opportunity to reach out and leverage the EO network is undoubtedly the beginning of a great Forum experience for those who have come together.
Each All-India Forum can have a maximum of two members per chapter. The placement process is the same as any other Forum, and a member is only placed after a careful evaluation.
The respective All-India Forums will meet every fiscal quarter in one of the member cities. They will kick off the meeting with a social evening, to which the host may invite some EO chapter members, and follow it up with two presentations the next day. In addition, they will stay connected every month with a conference call to discuss Parking Lot issues, Highs and Lows, and other issues that may be on the table at that time. The first meeting will be a retreat for all three Forums so that members can have a bonding experience at the very beginning.
The next plan is to launch All-India Spousal Forums sometime in the second or third quarter of this fiscal year. We hope these initiatives will enhance the value that EO brings to members.
