Biography
Patrick Thean is an international speaker who has addressed thousands of business owners on the topics of sustaining business growth, venture capital and
strategic exit strategies. He received the Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” for North Carolina in 1996 and achieved a ranking of number 151 on the Inc 500 list in 1997.
Patrick spoke at the Fortune Small Business Growth Conferences and various Entrepreneurs’ Organization chapters. He is currently Co-Chair of MIT’s Entrepreneurial Masters Program (EMP, previously known as the “Birthing of Giants” program), an exclusive program for founders and CEOs of high-performance companies.
Patrick lectured as an adjunct professor at Wake Forest University in 1999, and continues to provide workshops and coaching to Singapore’s Economic Development Board (EDB) on the topic of raising and managing venture capital.
Patrick is the author of “Execute without Drama,” and he speaks and facilitates seminars on “Mastering the Rockefeller Habits.” He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
